Everyone seems to have a digital camera nowadays. Even low spec mobile phones have a digital camera that one can use to snap a shot of two. What do you do with a camera if you have one? Why, you use it of course. What’s the point of having something if you’re not going to use it? In no time at all you’ll come to find that you’ve racked up a huge collection of images. Finding the one picture of you and Bob for example, amongst a myriad of other pictures, could be a daunting task. But it doesn’t have to be so if you use the right piece of software.

I am of course talking about a software program that will help you manage your photos. The catch is that there are as many such programs out there as there are pictures on your computer. There are some software applications that do a good job of helping you manage your photos; and then there are applications that do a better hob. IDimager definitely falls in the later category.

If you have to deal with vast amounts of photos, this very powerful tools will help you keep things organized. Here are just some of the things you can do with IDimager: import images from a digital camera, browse, organize, catalog, control versions, archive, edit, e-mail, print, find, and make slide shows, and much more.

Personally I liked two things the most. First I liked the fact that it smoothly integrate with a variety of photosharing sites. If I were to drop a few names, I’d go for Picasa, Flickr and Facebook. Users of popular social networking site Facebook will get a kick out of the fact that IDimager will convert the faces you added your images to Facebook tags.

The second thing I liked is the fact that you can control IDimager with your voice. If you’re sick and tired of clicking and typing, you need only activate the speech labeling function and using spoken words you can tell IDimager what to do.

State-of-the-art technology and innovative features that will help you manage your picture collection – that’s what IDimager has to offer.

Pros
  • Properly good photo organizer
  • Rate images
  • Editing tools
  • Face labeling option
  • Voice control
  • Upload photos to the web
Cons
  • Time-limited trial period
